Principles of processing your data
On the basis of the new data protection regulations, we process personal data pursuant to Art. 5 GDPR legally, in good faith, and in a manner understandable to you. The data gathered are limited to the degree necessary and appropriate to the purpose, and are collected for defined, clear and legitimate purposes.
Why do we collect and process data?
In principle we use your data to analyse user behaviour, in order to improve our website successively and to ease the use of our website and the search for content in the future. Personal data, for example what you enter into our contact form, are used for the clear association with your person and for the purpose of establishing contact with you.
May we collect and process your personal data?
When visiting our website for the first time you have the possibility to opt out of the collection and processing of your personal data, and to leave our website.

- IP address for the general recording of your location (county, state, possibly metropolitan area)
- Address of the website from which you may have been forwarded
- Device-specific information such as browser, screen size, device type or operating system
- Subpages accessed by you
- Mouse movement patterns to evaluate the intensity of page elements used
Contact form:
- Name, to identify your person
- E-mail address, in order to establish contact with you
- Password, encrypted, not visible to us
Newsletter:
- E-mail address, in order to be able to send you the newsletter

Who has access to your data?
Your personal data, such as name or e-mail address, are time-limited, isolated, and made available confidentially to a circle of persons appropriate to the purpose. Data on user navigation are anonymised and grouped together with other user data, before being made available to the marketing department for statistical purposes. Where are your data stored?
Your data are stored on the secure servers of trusted providers in Germany.

Opt-out and deletion
You may prohibit at any time the collection and processing pf your personal data (Art. 21 GDPR). Revoke any consent you have previously granted us by sending an e-mail with the requisite content to datenschutz@dol-oil.de. Using the same e-mail address, it is also possible to demand the inspection (Art. 20 GDPR) or deletion (Art. 17 GDPR) of information already gathered.
